Originally built in 1822, Ollila Farmhouse is steeped in rich history. Owned by the Karttunen family for generations, the farm was once a hub of small-scale agriculture and livestock rearing. In the early 1930s, the cottage also housed a small store, adding another layer to its storied past.
Ollilan tupa offers a variety of recreational and excursion services. In winter, you can explore the snowy nature on skis or snowshoes. In summer, you can try your luck fishing by trolling or angling, and hike in the nearby nature reserve while observing owls nesting.
In the main building's apartment, you can stay affordably year-round, and in the summer, also in the small courtyard cabin. Ollilan Tupa offers an atmospheric setting for meetings, training sessions, and recreational events. A 20-person kota (Lappish hut) is also available in the yard.
